Our experienced technicians will disassemble your laptop, remove your old drive and replace it with a brand new one. We will transfer the data if desired* and return the machine to you lightning fast, usually within 24 hours!**

How It Works:

• Ship or drop off your laptop using the shipping option selected.
• Upon receipt of your laptop we will perform the repair and return it to you.

Shipping Options:

1. Self-Ship with Ground Return Service

After completing checkout, use the carrier of your choice to send us your laptop with a copy of your receipt. We will perform the repair and return your machine to you via Ground carrier (continental US only).

2. Self-Ship with Overnight Return Service

After completing checkout, use the carrier of your choice to send us your laptop with a copy of your receipt. We will perform the repair and return your machine to you via Overnight carrier.

3. Door-to-Door Ground Roundtrip Service

After completing checkout, we will send you an empty laptop shipping box via UPS Ground. Upon arrival, pack your laptop in the shipping box with a copy of your receipt, seal the box securely with tape and call 1-800-PICK-UPS to schedule a UPS pickup at your location. Upon receipt of the laptop, we will perform the repair and return your machine to you via UPS Ground.

4. Door-to-Door Overnight Roundtrip Service

After completing checkout, we will send you an empty laptop shipping box via Overnight carrier. Upon arrival, pack your laptop in the shipping box with a copy of your receipt, seal the box securely with tape and call 1-800-PICK-UPS to schedule a UPS pickup at your location. Upon receipt of the laptop, we will perform the repair and return your machine to you via Overnight carrier.

5. In Person Local Dropoff and Pickup

San Francisco Bay Area customers may choose this option if no shipping is needed. After completing checkout, simply stop by our store during regular business hours and drop off your laptop with a copy of your receipt. We will perform the repair and call you to arrange pickup.

• Additional shipping charges will apply for customers outside the continental US.
• All drives include a manufacturer warranty of 1-year or more, and a PowerBook Guy warranty of 90-days.
• If you laptop requires additional repair, we can diagnose and quote that as well.

*Data transfer success depends on the condition of the existing drive and is not guaranteed. If the original hard drive is defective and we are unable to perform a data transfer, we can either install the original operating system that came with your machine or attempt data recovery on the original drive for an additional charge.
